I am starting this blog to document and share my journey as I change careers.  I have been blessed to lead three organizations as their CEO over the lats 16 years.  Through those years I have developed deeply held beliefs about leadership, strategy, and organizational performance.  I want to share what I have learned to leverage transformational performance across the healthcare industry.  Starting May 1, we formed a company – HC2 Strategies and while our startup is three weeks away, I thought it would be interesting to document my journey through this blog.  Healthcare organizations know they need to change dramatically over the next couple of years and I want to be a catalyst in supporting that change to improve the interaction between hospitals, doctors and communities to improve the healthcare in our nation.  Enjoy the ride!!
